Ministries
Outreach- The church van is available for transport each Sunday a.m. We have a monthly blitz outreach of our city. Home Bible Studies are taught in house throughout Creek County. New Converts Classes are held every other Wednesday at a local restaurant . Trained and certified prison ministers and ministries are available. Life in Focus reaches to those addicted to chemicals & anger.
Hospitality- Greeters and Ushers are available to help our guests get aquainted with our Church family. Each guest receives a follow up letter along with encouraged follow ups by the church family. Guests are invited to additional church events as they occur. A welcome package from the church is inserted in the newcomers basket that is given to new Sapulpans by the local Chamber of which this church is a member.
Sapulpa Youth Alive - Our Youth Ministry is an interactive ministry led by Youth Pastor Heath Stacy. It is our desire to instruct and involve Youth in ministry. Through SR Bible Quizzing the Youth are given opportunity to deeply learn God’s word and to meet and fellowship with other fine Youth. We encourage Youth to be involved in many areas of the worship and fellowship through local Youth Services, an annual Youth Revival and also state wide Youth meetings.
Children’s Ministry- We have a great interactive Children’s Ministry. It is our goal to both instruct and incorporate children in the service of the Lord Jesus. Through the Children’s ministry efforts, children attending this church are more able to take an active part in each service. Our Jr. Bible Quizzing offers children a chance to deeply learn God’s word and develop fellowship skills with other children. An angel choir is held bi monthly to teach children to worship the Lord in song. A monthly and also quarterly Children’s service is held that is at their level (puppets and etc…) with them involved.
Torchbearers- Now this is a fun group. The over 55 crowd are still busy people. However, they still take several times a year and gather. They eat, fellowship and may even play games. Like other ministries, they also serve. They take turns visiting the classrooms with their testimonies and prayerfully, financially and verbally support the Bible Quizzers. They bless all with their poetry, song, green thumb and etc. What an example and inspiration this group is.
Mens’ Fellowship- Quarterly I.S.I. (iron sharpeneth iron) breakfasts are held. These deliciousbreakfasts are followed by a devotion given by different men to sharpen each other. There is an occasion camp out at the lake. We fish, cook out and fellowship. Each month the men gather for a men’s only prayer. One of the men will offer a devotion and then we pray for our families and new men to be converted to Jesus. The men are encouraged to mentor the young men of the church. This is accomplished through fishing trips and etc. The church is also praying about having a scouting program.
Ladies Fellowship- The ladies of this assembly refer to themselves as “Daughters of Zion”. Once a month, the ladies visit a particular home for ladies prayer. Each month a different home is prayed in. One of the main focuses of this prayer meeting is each ladies children. A “More to Life” Bible study is taught at various homes. This Bible Study is designed with the lady in mind. During the year, the church ladies serve in many ministerial capacities. They gather occasionally to discuss topics and to be ministered to by the Pastors wife.
